About the Client / Project
The Roehampton Summer Ball is one of the biggest in the country. At a length of 16 hours, 2000 in attendance and record of past acts such as Razorlight, Ironic, Chase & Status and the Zutons it’s more like a festival than a ball.
Jon Foley Entertainments Manager at Roehampton Students’ Union wanted a video of the 2011 Summer Ball filmed and edited. What they got was more than they could have hoped for.
The idea was to make everyone who watches the video feel as though they were there, experience the fun, excitement, friendships and the overwhelming grandeur of the event.
The 2 camera shoot captured all the best bits and edited to create an emotional arc with an explosive finally, this wasn’t just an event video, it was a film.
