About the Client/ the Project
Pickaweb.co.uk have been providing UK web hosting services since 2000. They pride themselves on being able to offer reliable and cheap web hosting.
They also offer a range of other internet services which includes web design packages, 0800 numbers, eCommerce, domain registration and a whole host of web builder tools and affiliate programs. They came to us looking to update their virtual avatars which were situated right across the website.
Horrible, mechanical things those virtual presenter avatars. Anyhow, WebVideos have significantly reduced the cost of having live presenters on your website so it came as no surprise that Pickaweb wanted to replace all 9 of their avatars for Web Video Presenters.
They provided the scripts themselves and picked 3 of our presenters from our extensive collection. Along the way we mocked up the bespoke flash based interective video player to the required Pickaweb standard and we were away.
